I haven't seen that, but you can use a USB-to-serial converter.  I do that
anyway to get more serial ports.  There's a lot of discussion about these
here:

There are some special considerations for using these with 5-bit Baudot, but
it should be much simpler for just reading the CT-17 data.  73 - John,
