[ICOM] Re Icom T-90a

If one wishes to operate the Icom T-90a from a bench power supply of 13.8 vdc,
he must use the special cable from Icom. However this has a cigarette lighter
plug on the end of it. Does one cut it off and put on terminal spades to 
connect
to a bench power supply or?	
	
As far as I can determine, there is not an adapter available that allows the
cigarette lighter plug to work with a bench power supply. 	
	
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to modify the cable to work with a 
bench
power supply?
