I use one connected to my 756PRO espically for 160M fixed operation and find that it helps take away some of atmospheric popping and snapping noise. However, on a quiet band I have to switch it off as is squeales, pops and snaps when used in CW mode. Have sent it back to the factory but returned the same condition.
