Adam,

Thanks for your attempted help. Answers to your questions follow.

1. Yes the beverages are connected to the RCV jack on the back of the PRO
II. I use a control box that switches between the two beverages and also
contains the switch to reverse their direction.

2. Yes. Remember that everything works fine when the PRO II is running
barefoot.

3. It "wiggles" slightly.

Actually if I made the "mistake" you are asking about, I would not receive
anything because there is nothing connected to the ANT 2 input on the PRO.

I actually worked TJ3SP on 75 by manually switching the RCV antenna in and
out as appropriate. That reminded me of the old days when I had a big T/R
relay controlled by a manual switch.

Any ideas?

A few questions:

1. Do you have the Beverage antennas connected to the RCV ANT jack on the
756Pro2?

2. Also, assuming that the PW1 Input 1 socket is connected to the ANT1
socket on the 756Pro2, do you have ANT1/R selected on the Pro2 ANT softkey?
(Press and hold the key to select ANT1/R if ANT1 is displayed).

3. Does the PW1 power output meter indicate any output at all when you key
the exciter with the Beverages connected?

It is possible that you accidentally selected ANT2/R, in which case the PW1
would not get any RF drive although the received signal would get through.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ
