[ICOM] Wanted US dealers who ship to Canada

I almost always buy from an American dealer if possible. It just
makes economic sense. Whether this "kills" the local dealer or
not, I couldn't care less. In other words, I support NAFTA.

Now there is such an unbelieveable price disparity between what
US hams pay to get the same product out the door and what a
Canadian pays that its worth the "risk". Its not the dealer
shelf price that matters, its what it costs to get it on YOUR
shelf that matters.

The cost savings buys a *LOT* of repair and its unlikely that
you'll ever need it. The other thing is I'd never return it to
my dealer anyway. I'd ship it to the factory, send it too
someone like Cliff or fix it myself.

Its consumer electronics. Invariably it comes out of the box and
is used until it dies (or not) many years later. The odds and
the economics rule heavily on the Import option.
