[ICOM] Query: IC-746 Display -- Many Tks!!!

Many tks to Gary, Jim, and all others who responded privately to my 
query about shutting down the 746 display.

We all seem to be agreed that while reducing brightness and contrast via 
SET mode is possible, it might not be a very good idea, and disabling 
the display completely isn't possible, short of major internal surgery.

Can't imagine why the designers didn't consider a situation in which the 
operator and the radio would be 500 miles apart!

On the other hand, it is a real delight to find out just how much CAN be 
controlled remotely on that radio. Not many will match it in that 
respect, and it's a perfect match for TRX-Manager.
