Loren,

I haven't seen any further responses so I don't know if you resolved your
problem. Ted is probably correct about the Priority mode. I had one of these
rigs years ago and IIRC it was easy to bump the Priority button. I'm sure you
checked that. If you use it for packet, as I did, you only use one frequency.
If the rig is put in Priority it won't switch back and forth checking another
freq  because there is only one and it will act as you describe. As for a reset
sequence, I don't believe this rig had one. About all you can do is remove the
power.
