[ICOM] audio problem

How is it on CW? Try tuning from one edge of the band to the other...back
and forth a few times and see if it clears up a bit. There is a thread on
the Kenwood reflector where someone has the same problem with a TS520...and
I had the same problem with a R599 receiver. The VFO bearing grease drys out
and causes it to be a bit intermittant...or more accurately...noisy.
Zooming the dial back and forth a few times can clear it up temporarilly.
Worth a try anyway!
....Dave
