The first (of 4) Main VCO's in the PLL covers from 0-7.999999 MHz. Does that
about meet what you are seeing??

Subject: [ICOM] Selective band opertation with PRO ll
After digging a bit further, it now appears that just the three (3) lowest
bands are not operating and appear dead. A suggestion was received that
perhaps the filter board got disturbed during transit and perhaps something
got loose. Is there a common circuit element that affects these 3 bands on
the filter board or PLL circuit? Perhaps a relay is loose? Before I open
the radio and start probing around, can someone advise on this issue?
I saw nothing in the operating manual except a drawing of the inside of the
radio (view from the top) but not much detail on the circuits themselves.
Anyone have a suggestion where I might look? Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Mark, K1RX----
