OK folks, I just finished up the calibration of the 756Pro using the digipan software to check the tones as posted by Larry. What I found was that the LSB was about -170Hz low and the USB was about 170hz high. I then went thru the ICOM calib procedure in the owner's manual, got the zero beat - and I could actually tell where it should be even with my bad hearing. After completing the calib procedure, the sound on LSB and USB is now the same as it should be.

I then re-checked using the digipan software and the difference between LSB, AM, and USB was nil. All three modes would show 600 hz as the tone on WWV (or 500 hz depending on which tone they were sending just like Larry said it would be.

I checked into the winlink airmail system with success and checked into 14.300 net with good audio reports.

Thanks for all the help to everyone - this reflector is GREAT!! It has really helped several times with questions.
