[ICOM] 756 ProII Transverter Port

Is anyone using the transverter port on the 756 ProII? If so,
can you use the external receive RCA jack (adjacent to the 
transverter jack) for transverter RX or is it disabled when 
you put the 2-13V on pin 6 of ACC(2)?

I currently have a split RX/TX on my Downeast 222 transverter for 
the IF I/O and will be a real pain to have to use a common IF port 
on the radio.

Anyone have experience hooking this up without a lot of re-work?
I figured I'd ask before I go through a long exercise.
