[ICOM] House Grouding/Surge Protection

Hello ,  About 4-6 months ago CQ or Popular Communications ran a great article regarding surge protectors and protection for the entire house. It showed the cheaper units to the best you can buy and listed contact information. I will try to find the article this afternoon. Also does anybody have any information on an Icom mobile transceiver that will allow reception from 225-400mhz in the AM mode. Some offer reception of these frequencies but only in FM.
