[ICOM] IC-706MkII Dimming the Light

go into the  --- initial set mode ---  ( lock + power on )  menu # 4
backlight  -- high - low      select by rotating the dial knob ccw to go
to low  ---- then shut off to exit menu then back on -- this will give
you lower display...
