[Icom] HF-bands TX problems IC706MK2G

  Hello and thanks for reading this message.

  I have a 706 mk2G, 
  There is a problem with the HF amplifier.
  When I push the PTT switch I see the 706 is making full outputpower (100 watt) for less than a half second or gives direct 2 watt outputpower, within a half second the outputpower is dropped down to 1 watt on the HF bands, mode switch gives no difference.
  It looks like a bad contact somewhere or a bad diode, but we can`t  lokate it in all the smd parts

  Do you have experience to solve this problem?
