Hi Steve,

The 703 on 6 is fair but being a qrp rig, it is very sensitive to nearby
strong RF fields and tends to go "bananas" in a multi op situation.

Subject: [ICOM] Performance of the IC-703 on 6m?

I bought my first new HF rig, a 703 at Dayton. The fact that it had
6m on it was a definite plus, but I'm wondering what to expect this
coming Field Day using it. Whats it like as a 6m rig? I'm hoping that
it will be decent, but I know that the 706 has noise problems on 6,
and wonder how the 703 stacks up.

   Thanks to all...
