Bill is right of course.  We need to sit back and see what happens.
Hopefully, a supervisor with common sense will get involved.  State Farm has
been my home owners' insurance carrier all my adult life.  I've had numerous
claims with them over the years including a large lightening strike claim,
attic fire, fire bombed Ford Ranger, and two teenage drivers and they bent
over backwards to satisfy me.  Of course it might be different now.
