[ICOM]940vs 990 vs 756

I am sorry...I should have added into that whole mix that I was offered 
either the Kenwood 940 or Yaesu 990 in swap for the Icom 756 that I had 
mentioned in an earlier post. Taking into account that the Icom has 
display issues I was wondering if one of these other radios would be a 
better bet to have? I really would like imput from the Icom group on this.
