[ICOM] Kenwwod 940 vs Yaesu 990

I need some input from those you you in the know. I have a chance to get 
either a Kenwood 940 (with extra filters) or a Yaesu 990 (ac/dc model). 
I have been doing research on both and they both seem like very really 
nice radios. I need to hear opinions from those of you that have tried 
either, or both, of these radios and let me know what you think. Thanks 
in advance to all who answer!
