The fix for the ProII was to use a white meter scale and white
LEDs.

Half the problem is the yellow meter scale on the Pro, the ProII has
a white meter scale. I replaced the yellow LEDs in my Pro with white
as in the ProII, but could tell no real difference. Next step for me
is to buy a ProII replacement meter.
