I really don't think that is right. It should have tx limits. What about the
dealer you bought it from? Could it possibly be a return that was modded
before it was returned. Sounds fishy to me. It is a great radio though. I
own two. 1.9 ssb and 350 hz filters really do wonders for the rcvr. GL,

> I bought a new MKIIG at dayton, got around to setting it up this
week...going in car... played for a while, everything worked as it should.
Noticed the rig had no beep at the band edges, went to menu and reset the
proper item... still no beep. did a full reset, etc and tried again... same
result. Had the rig on 18.170 just past the band edge, happen to key the rig
and off it went ,full out.

transmitts.
> I preceeded to call Icom service in cailf. and talked to their tech, who
said.......

> My question is ... is this icom tech full of BS or do I have a radio that
was suppose to go to another market.. this one has all the auto repeater
functions working fine.which leads me to beleive this was a us bound radio.
> I would be greatful for anyone that can shed more light on what is
going on with my MKIIG.
