Hello all !
Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions and information about the 
older radios and also about the trimmer caps. I have learned a lot and 
now will be doing some research on said radios to see which I want to 
and can afford to get. One other quick question, which will save me some 
time, can anyone tell me out of those older radios which ones have split 
freq capability, VOX, and maybe an auto tuner built in? As I am mainly 
interested in DXing and contesting these would be good extra features to 
have.
