[ICOM] Icom 740 question-keyer

I know this might be a long shot, but just got an Icom
740 in yesterday, and can't seem to get the internal
keyer to work.  Wonder if someone on the list could
help.

If you can get yours open, I wonder if you could check
on something.  The keyer board mounts in the front of
the radio, right in the middle.  There are two plugs
that come off of a wire harness and plug into it.  1
is a 3 wire plug, and the other is a 4 wire plug. 
Would you be able to check and see if the 4 wire plug
actually has 4 wires running into it?  Mine only has
3, and I am suspecting that one of the wires broke off
of it, which is why the keyer won't work.

The manual says nothing about installing the keyer, so
can't check it that way.
