Renee,

You've made a good investment, but with things like capacitors it is wise to
fix them before they quit because they more often short out rather than go
"open".  If they just went open, they wouldn't cause more damage, but when
they short they often cause more damage to other components - and worst of
all - some of the "expensive" ones.

In other words, since having a 765 is important to you because the layout
suits your special needs, take care of it and use a pound of prevention.

Perhaps Cliff would drop you an email suggesting other parts that should be
renewed while this unit is being renewed?

But you might get lucky - for awhile. My 765 was bought in June 1990 and is
still near perfect in all respects. But . . .
