Hello Group:

I have a 756ProII which I'm running in a remote controlled environment.

Unfortunately, the ProII does not have a software command to turn the
rig on and off, as far as I know. If a command exists, I sure would
like to know the command.

So I'm looking for ways/ideas to turn the rig on/off remotely. I have
access to remote controlled relays so I will have the capability. Heres
a few ideas I've bounced around:

1: install a relay between the power supply and rig. I've confirmed
that the rig will turn on and off with the power supply. The rig must
be turned on initially from the front pannel, but after that the rig
will come on when the supply is turned on and will turn off when the
power supply is turned off.

2: Figure out a way to bring a control lead from the power switch on
the inside of the rig to the outside of the rig so I could connect a
relay to it. I'm not a real fan of modifying the rig, but I'm willing
to do it if I can do it right.

Any ideas/thoughts would be welcomed. I really don't want the rig left
on all the time.

Thanks in advance.
