[ICOM] Icom 756-Pro II

I've forced my 756PRO to transmit when I was having PTT and key problems -
something wasn't working right and I didn't know if it was my wires
(haywires? - and it WAS my wiring!) or the radio by pushing the RTTY button
then pushing the TRANSMIT button under the ON/OFF switch.
I think you mentioned you had tried this - but doing this eliminates the
possibility of having something wrong with the CW key, or the microphone -
or even the RTTY software/hardware hookup.
I hate to say this, but have you looked into doing a "CPU RESET" on the
radio in case it is a cpu glitch?
Write down your special settings - like dial intensity, CW waveshape, filter
settings, AGC constants you have entered and then do a RESET.
Shouldn't hurt anything, and just might reset some glitch that is causing
the problem.
I've seen glitches to the most unexplainable things. And you can NEVER get
the radio to act up in the same way again on purpose!

David,
I use the Icom AH-4 on ant 1 port with a 80m horizontal loop for MARS
frequencies, hold tuner button to tune. Tried the internal tuner with the 6m
vertical on ant 2 port, which should not be required. Still no transmit on
ant 2 port.
Thanks,
Mike
