Also turn your antenna tuner OFF - if the antenna tuner is left in a
"strange" position, the radio won't load. Or activate the ATU by pressing
the button for the tuner, and see if it tunes the antenna. I don't believe
the ATU works in automatic mode on six meters - at least on the PRO1.

Do you have port 2 used for transceive or for "receive only"? You can
program this.

Hello Ted,
I have the same problem here on my 18 months old 756 p2. I just put up a 6m
vertical for FM on ant 2 port, never tried to use ant 2 port previously.
Will not transmit when I select ant 2. 6m antenna works FB with my 706 2g.
Bellevue said send it in. I hate the thought of doing without it, for God
knows how long!!
Well, guess I'll get to know the new 718 a little better.
