I'd get the narrow SSB filter, the FL-223. I've not found the FL-103 
to offer much
over the stock filter. I also bought the FL-100, I use it for beacon 
chasing. The FL-100
can also make a decent rtty filter if set up in the menu as an FL-100 
(I think, there are
folks on the group that can correct me, I'm not at my 706 right now...)

Works great as a fixed station. I used a 706MkIIG as well as a 756Pro 
here in the
shack.
