[ICOM] Icom 756-Pro II

Hi Guys
I have a strange problem with my pro.Six meters is no longer working I 
have tried to get it to work on two antennas that I have one is for Fm 
the other is a dipole. Both have resonant points and both work very well 
on my FT100d however when connected to the Pro I get erratic swr 
readings full or sometimes half scale power readings  and my ALC reading 
will be full scale all the time when attempting to transmit.
Now here is the kicker,When a dummy load is applied to ant-port two 
{used for six} the damn thing works but only with the dummy load . It is 
nothing more than that cheap little one that Radio shack used to sell. 
Switching from ant1 to ant 2 has no effect nor does any of my other 
dipoles nor did a reset of the cpu .
I am at my wits end with this one This radio is my pride and joy and 
with the six meter openings we have been having I am stuck using my 
back-up ft100d {YUCK} Has anyone ever had this happen to you?? Can 
anyone suggest a possible cure other than shipping it to washington state??
