[ICOM] Dreaming of the Perfect '706

   If ICOM were to contact this reflector and ask what improvements would be
   most desired in the ICOM IC-706 transceiver, what would you request?

   To many it is a near perfect small package transceiver, something that I do
   not doubt, but like all "near perfect" things, it is frustrating that the
   "one" additional feature wasn't added which would make it "perfect".

   How would you make the '706 perfect?

Provide for full duplex for satellite operation, at least UHF/VHF, but
HF/VHF and HF/UHF in addition would be useful.  And as an adjunct to
that, of course, having the two VFO's able to track, both directly and
reverse.

Have a monitor function.

DSP filtering.
