Hi Anders,

Many thanks for the kind comments. I always recommend the FL-80/FL-44A pair;
this is probably Icom's best SSB filter combination, as the two filters have
comparable bandwidths and shape factors. The Inrad 109 is an excellent
alternative to the now-rare FL-44A. It is not necessary to replace the
FL-80.

The IC-781 and IC-775 series will benefit greatly from this filter upgrade;
only the FL-96 need be replaced, as the FL-80 is factory-fitted. In the
IC-765, the FL-30/FL-96 pair can be replaced as above. The adjacent-channel
selectivity and PBT operation will improve significantly.

God Jul och gott nyt ar!

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

I have changed the factory installed FL-96 to a Inrad 109. Much better! Even
better than I expected from advice from Adam Farson and others.Now the
rx-nice also sound the same on USB and LSB. Inrad seem to have better
quality than Icom.
