Hi Jerry,

The AT-500 covers the following ranges:

160m on ANT 4

80m on ANT 3

40 & 30m on ANT 2

20, 17, 15, 12 & 10m on ANT 1

(User manual, p. 6.)

A fifth SO-239 may be fitted in the hole covered by the ID plate, so as to
allow one of the grouped bands to be broken out separately; Example: 30m, 17
+ 15m, 12 + 10m. This will require rearrangement of the wiring between the
bandswitch output wafer and the SO-239 sockets.

The sixth SO-239 is the RF input socket.

The AT-500 user manual and other related documents are downloadable here:

The AT-500 will probably not tune 6m - in fact, the internal reflectometer
may be grossly inaccurate on 6m. Given the value of this now fairly rare
accessory, I would not recommend any attempt at modification.

The AT-500 in combination with the IC-2KL amplifier is a great 500W package.
I had the pair in my station for 10 years without a lick of trouble.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ
