[ICOM] Icom AT-500 Auto Tuner - How Automatic is it??

BlankI'm considering an AT-500 tuner for my remote controlled hf
station.  Once the tuner is setup is it really automatic or does it take
any operator intervention at all?

The AT-500 will be getting its band data from a Microham Band decoder
which I use for antenna switching, but it does have an output for Icom
band data as my rig changes bands.

I'm currently using a TS-480HX, but as soon as I finish up some control
circuitry, my ProII will be put on line.
