[ICOM] MKIIG Transmit audio problem

HI, I recently purchased an R71A that looks good, functions OK, but is nearly deaf. I was looking for a repair company. I have been VERY pleased with Clif's work at AVVID, but I understand that he has ceased operations.
Unfortunatly, my shop is back in storage and will be sidelined for about a year.
I want to have it refurbed, new trimmers, caps, etc.
Recommendations please....
