Hi Jack,
I may be way off, but I don't think using any compression on FM is
appropriate, maybe that is the problem.
If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. (gently please, I'm sensitive) ;<)
Happy holidays,

Subject: [ICOM] MKIIG Transmit audio problem
I have a used and modified MKIIG.
I can not get the audio properly set on FM.
I have tried the stock mic, DTMF mic and Heil Traveler mic.
Transmit audio on FM is now set on Ø (zero) and I have 'fooled' with the
compressor settings yet I continuously get reports of muffled audio.
Is there a way to adjust the deviation? Is there anything else I can try?
