I try to do some QSK, not always, but more and more. At home I use the
IC-756Pro which works very nicely that way. In my camper I have the 706MkIIG.
QSK with that really get on your ears. The problem is not the relay, in fact
the rig itself is quiet, and stored somewhere where it doesn't matter if it's
noisy.
The problem is the noise of switching back and forth between Tx and Rx. It's
very loud and really racks my nerves. To me as a QSK newbie and an only
moderate CW op anyway it's a real problem, so I turn it off and use normal
keying most of the times.
