[ICOM] Icom filter question

Rod,
The ICOM FL-series filters (9 MHz and 455 KHz) are
crystal-based designs, while the smaller Murata CFJ
series commonly used by default in the older ICOM rigs
in the 455 KHz position are ceramic. ICOM even used
some Kokusai mechanical filters at the 455 KHz IF, the
IC-730's factory stock 455 filter being an example of
this.
ICOM does not manufacture any filters. They are made
for ICOM (at least they used to be) by Nikko Denshi
(spelling?) If I recall correctly.
