[ICOM] IC-718 in CW Mode

This is getting far too complicated.  I had a 718 a year or two ago and no foot switch was necessary.  

While it has been a while (and I may be wrong) make sure the menu setting for break-in is set properly or the menu setting for key or paddle is set properly.  I bet this is the problem.
