No doubt. And some local hams are selling out of their Yaesu FT1000D
setups expecting a severe devaluation after December, when the FTDX9000D
is released. The FTDX9000 contest model is supposed to be around $6000. 

So there seems to be new price points, $3000, $6000, and $10,000. 

All very expensive, where the old gear almost cannot be given away.
