[ICOM] IC-31

I traded my IC-20 (my second Icom) in on
the new synthesized IC-22S. There was
a big market for the IC-20 to be used to
build repeaters. This was due to the front
end selectivity and the modular construction
of the IC-20. The 20 used the same modules
as did the 21 except for the crystal board.

I built a GLB synthesizer to go with my IC-21.
I used the GLB with both my IC-20 and IC-21.
You could do odd splits with it because you
set the RX and TX frequencies separately.
I last saw the IC-21/GLB rig at a hamfest
fleamarket about 10 years ago.

I had the second and third Icom radios in
Oklahoma. I think I am up to about three
dozen Icom rigs now that I own or have
owned.
