[ICOM] Icom 706 on WSJT

I can't answer that specifically - But I can say that I've run my 706MKIIG
for a weekend of RTTY contesting at full 100W on the low bands.  It gets
"hot as a pistol" but just keeps on going and going and going...  I
suppose VHF might be different, but it seems it can take the heat abuse.
