[ICOM] FL-53 vs FL-53A ?

I was wanting a 250 Hz filter for my camper rig (IC-718).  The manual calls
for a FL-53A filter..... I found a dealer with a FL-53 filter that he said
is guaranteed to work.

What's the difference between the 53 and the 53A model ?  Will the FL-53
work ok ?  I can't find the specs on the non-A anywhere.
