[ICOM] Older Icoms with a rigblaster

I had a fully-loaded 740 for a number of years.
I never used it with a rig-blaster, but I ran a ARMY-MARS gateway with a
Kantronics KAM for several years. I did all the interfacing from the rear
24 pin molex jack. You should be able to get the molex pins from ICOM, or
maybe another supplier. They are smaller than the power cord pins. The KAM
had enough audio drive to work well with the 740. I expect the rig-blaster
would be the same.
The KAM/740 worked just fine until two things happened.
1. I retired from the Army and got a new 781 as a retirement gift.
2. I resigned from MARS cause I couldn't stand the BS anymore.
Chopped the 740 up and sold the radio/PS/accessories/filters for nearly
$700. Still have the KAM along with a nice 4 radio dual-port switchbox to
allow the KAM to put either port on any of 4 radios. Gunna sell that too
someday.
Hope it works for you.
