Hi Ken,

I would also be moving up from an original Pro, which served me very
well although I needed to keep a finger on the preamp button on
the higher frequencies. I also kept the filter settings on the main
display because that was most important to me (cw), it will be nice to
have the scope and the filter settings on the screen. 

So I see improvements in the ergonomics coupled with better receiver
numbers which I am assuming will translate into a generally improved
receiver. 

All that at roughly the price of the Pro II when it came out. I passed
the Pro II up but the III seems like it will be worth the upgrade.

Hi Don,
Just curious, what new feature on pro III convinced you? Didn't seem like 
much of tech. advancement, but mainly bells whistles..what am I missing?
