[ICOM] ready for 3...

Hi Don,

The only "hard" information I have is that Icom will show the 756Pro3 at
Tokyo HamFair, 2004 (Aug. 21-22, 2004).

Going on previous history, I would speculate that the Pro3 will probably
make its North American debut at Dayton 2005, with availability later that
year (contingent on FCC certification, of course).

Well I've read the specs on the Pro III and have pretty
much decided that I need one.

Question is, when will they be ready for purchase?

Since it's not an entirely new radio, I'd like to think
they'll be available before Dayton, or at the least,
available at Dayton.

It's hard to imagine waiting a full year for this one.

Anyone have any inside info?
