Sorry you can't read the manual and don't have a friend to help out. The Pro
ll is sufficiently complex that you may well be missing out on a lot more of
its features. If you live near Dallas, Texas I would be pleased to
personally help you out.

Does your city have an amateur radio club or any hams in it? If so, I'll bet
you could get someone to come over and run through that manual with you. Be
prepared for an all day session though to really learn what the radio can do
and get your settings optimally adjusted for you.
