Noted that you have not commented on my cautionary note advising against
driving the IC-4KL with the Orion. I hope my news was not too great a shock
to your system.

I simply cannot comprehend the mentality of a radio manufacturer who can
omit so essential a function as an ALC input from its flagship HF
transceiver.
