[ICOM] IC756PRO dual receive question

Hi John,

As the IF chain and DSP are shared in Dual Watch mode, selecting Dual Watch
will force the "B" channel to the "A" mode and filter settings.

Dual Watch is not a true dual-receiver architecture. Please refer to this

Cheers for now, 73,

Subject: [ICOM] IC756PRO dual receive question

I have a question about the 756PRO with the digital filters. When in dual
watch mode, does each receiver have to have the same filter width? I know
with the TS2000 I used to have both VFO A and B used the same filter width.
Like to narrow the width on the DX station, but use a wider width to find
the station he is working when in split.

Any info would be appreciated.

73s John NE0P
