I bought the R20 about two weeks ago, great portable scanner, however it does 
not perform very well on my outside discone antenna due to overload.
With the included teleskope whip it performs great, the internal recording 
facility is fantastic.
Scanning speed is real fast and handling of the unit is fine, however i still 
have the manual with me when taking the scanner outside.
Battery life seems quite long and you can use "double A" cells as well.

This is a quicky only i am a little short of time...
