[ICOM] New information on IC-756Pro III page

Hi Kirk,

To my knowledge there is no separate IC-765 list. Almost all the 765-related
postings I have seen over the past few years have been on this list. Also,
Don VE3HUR's "Notes" are probably the authoritative collection of 765
material.

There are two Yahoo! Groups - icom-all and IcomRadio - that you may wish to
search for IC-765-related messages.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

I noticed in one of Adam's recent postings that there are several individual
mailing lists for a number of specific Icom radios. Could someone tell me
if there is a list specific to the IC-765 model? A cursory search did not
turn up anything. I've got two IC-765's that I'd like to keep going for the
forseeable future. I've found Adam's references, and I've collected several
documents over the years. If there is a reflector specific to the IC-765,
please let me know.

It may be a loss to the Icom community to splinter things out into several
"per-radio" lists. There is less active cross- pollinated discussion. It
also requires searching in several different list archives to find relevant
info. I know that I have learned many useful "Icom things" reading about
Icom radios that I don't own. Yes, I could subscribe to all of the lists,
but I doubt that I will.

Just one more opinion...
