Old Icom rigs (was Re: [ICOM] Re IC765 No Transmit)

I still have my IC-30 and IC-215 (among about 20 others).

I had the second (by 10 days) Icom in Oklahoma City back in 1972.
This was an IC-21 that I later put a GLB synthesizer on.

'Bout a year ago, I picked up an IC245 with the SSB adapter.
It was brand new, never opened up.
It works like it should, but I researched it and found that it is almost
shocking
that it does work.
That plated through hole problem struck down almost all of them, it would
seem.
It is a fun rig when it works.
The audio is not as nice as other old rigs. I also have a few other
'antique' Icoms.
